Audio Damage Announces Fluid – Chorus Plug-In. Posted on Sep 17, 2007. Audio Damage is readying a new chorus plug-in for Mac and Windows called Fluid.Audio Damage claims “it makes chorus a usable effect again.”. The QuatroMod download includes 32/64-bit VST and VST3, and 64-bit AAX for Windows 8 or greater, and as a 32/64-bit AU/VST/VST3/AAX for OSX (10.8 or greater). Audio Damage has released RoughRider3, a freeware compressor effect in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats for digital audio workstation software on PC, Mac, and Linux. Also available on iOS as an AUv3 plugin and standalone app. RoughRider3 is a plugin designed specifically for heavy-duty dynamic range compression. 907A Fixed Filter Bank is a faithful recreation of the Moog Modular Synthesizer's 907A module, and it creates a variety of tonal effects by passing its input signal through eight band-pass filters, one low-pass filter and one high-pass filter. The 907A is a subtle effect, capable of adding rich luster to pads, and giving percussive and lead synth sounds a vocal quality. Audio Damage has announced the release of Quanta, a new Granular Synthesizer plug-in for macOS and Windows
Feature Highlights:
Granulate Quanta is a full-featured ten-voice true stereo granular synthesizer, with up to a hundred 1000ms grains per voice, and full control over the grain state, with direct randomization and modulation of most parameters. Drag-and-drop a sample (WAV, AIFF, Ogg, or FLAC) on to the window and go to work. Synthesize With two multi-mode filters (with LP, HP, BP and notch in 2-pole and 4-pole topologies), and a “sidecar” virtual-analog oscillator and noise generator that can be used in addition to, or injected into, the grain engine, Quanta is a fully capable subtractive synth in its own right, and will work as a granular or subtractive (or both) synth without any sample at all. Modulate Quanta has mod coming out its ears. First up are four of our new FEGs (Flexible Envelope Generator), a 99-point looping function generator with optional host tempo sync. Then add two arbitrary-waveshape LFOs, a multi-source sample-and-hold module, and fully user-controllable MIDI assignments, with nearly every control on the panel as a destination. Control Quanta is customizable to your taste and playing style. With full MPE support, it can take advantage of the extended control set of your Linnstrument, Seaboard, Soundplane, Continuum, or other MPE controller, and support for TUN files lets you use tuning tables. The resizable Hi-DPI GUI lets you adjust the size to match your visual needs, and the cross-platform preset mechanism lets you share your creations with your friends and collaborators, no matter what system they are using.
CHANGES IN V1.0.14
> Divide-by-zero on sample load crash found and killed with impunity. > Pitch bend override now does its one job. > Factory presets removed from desktop installer and moved to download, so updates aren’t so fracking big. > Updated to current JUCE, AAX, VST3, and macOS libraries.

RoughRider3 is a plugin designed specifically for heavy-duty dynamic range compression. It is a character compressor that doesn’t attempt to sound clean nor subtle. It will warm up the processed audio signal and smash its dynamic range while adding punch and weight. As you might have guessed, a compressor like RoughRider3 works best on percussive material like acoustic drums and electronic beats. That said, it can provide interesting results when used on guitars, basslines, or even vocals.
The latest version of the plugin introduces a set of workflow improvements and several long-awaited features. Most importantly, RoughRider can now be used as a side-chain compressor. It features an external sidechain input, along with a high-pass filter in the side-chain signal path. The high-pass filter is there to help clean up the side-chain trigger signal, thus preventing the erratic compression behavior caused by excessively loud bass frequencies.
RoughRider3 also introduces a “full bandwidth” mode that switches off the internal low-pass filters used for warming up the sound. This will make RoughRider3 sound more transparent, something that wasn’t possible with the older versions of the plugin.
Finally, the refreshed RoughRider3 user interface now provides input and output gain controls, as well as gain reduction metering, input and output volume metering, and volume graphs. All things considered, this is a welcome update that makes RoughRider3 a more versatile compressor without compromising its signature sound.
RoughRider3 is available as a VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin for all major operating systems. Keep in mind thay only 64-bit digital audio workstations are supported (thanks to our readers for the reminder in the comments section). The previous version of RoughRider can still be downloaded from the product page linked below.
